Here are answers to some common questions. 

  • Do I need to make an appointment?

    We always welcome walk-ins to CONI & FRANC. If you are looking for a specific event or wedding gown shopping, we highly encourage you to make an appointment prior to the day you'd like to visit us.  This ensures you will have a trained consultant with you during the process, and will not have to wait on a list if we become busy. Appointments receive first priority. Call us at (304) 296-9466 or use the appointment option on our website.

  • Are alterations included in the price of my dress?

    Because we partner with full-time professional seamstresses, there is an extra charge for alterations. We will provide you with a price list at your appointment so that you will be able to budget accordingly.  An estimated quote will be given during the appointment if asked. We also will provide seamstresses that you can contact for alterations in your area when possible.

  • Will you do alterations on items purchased outside of your store?

    We only alter garments purchased at CONI & FRANC. However, if you need a seamstress recommendation, call the store at 304-296-9466 or email info@coniandfranc.net.

  • What sample sizes do you carry in stock?

    We carry sizes 0-28 in our bridal, maids, and eveningwear, sizes 2-24 in cocktail and everyday wear. We want every body type to be able to have options to try from our exceptional collections throughout CONI & FRANC.  A trained CONI & FRANC consultant is in charge of handling each garment both in and out of the fitting room. Although we do order to accommodate sizes, we sell most of our merchandise out of stock.

  • I heard your store is really expensive. What's the price range?

    We pride ourselves in selecting only the finest items to accommodate most price ranges.  We keep an excellent stock of both new and sale dresses and daywear pieces that range from $50-$5,000.  Please let us know your price range in advance so that we make sure we find you everything you need within that budget. We are here to help in every way possible.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

    Students with a valid student I.D. are eligible to receive 10% off all full-price merchandise. All military personnel on active duty with proper identification receive 15% off all full-price merchandise. All West Virginia University employees with a valid I.D. will receive 10% off all full-price merchandise. 

  • Do you have any sort of payment plan?

    We know that dressing for a special event can be expensive, so we do the best we can to accommodate all price ranges and budgets. We do offer layaway for your CONI & FRANC purchases! In-stock pieces require 20% down at the time of purchase and all special orders require 50% down. There is no cost or fee for using layaway!

  • What are your business hours?

    Our business hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday by appointment only. 

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    CONI & FRANC accepts all major credit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diner's Club, Paypal, Venmo, and Apple Pay as well as checks and cash. 

  • Can I get a full refund?

    We do not offer refunds. However, if the return is made within 7 days of the purchase date you may earn store credit to be used for something else that catches your eye. 

  • What is your return policy?

    All exchanges can be made within 7 days of purchase for an in-store credit or another item in the store.
